A tour of the Neve Tzedek neighborhood as seen through the works of the artist, Nahum Gutman. The tour will focus on some of his classic paintings and illustrations, which depict the 'good old days' in the Land of Israel. We'll walk along Independence Trail on Rothschild Boulevard, where you'll become familiar with sites that played a pivotal role in the history of the Jewish people. After that, we'll visit the Gutman Museum and focus on works of art that are closely intertwined with the establishment of the State of Israel. The paintings in the exhibition document the early days of Tel Aviv and offer a local perspective on the landscapes, architecture, culture and people of that period.
