Perennial spring. The source of its water is rainfall in the area of the Judean mountains that penetrates through the cracks in the limestone.

The site has thick reed and Tamarisk shrub flora, as well as water and shade. Next to the spring is the pillar of a fortress that survived from the Byzantine era and remnants of a bathing house.
