Following The 1948 Fighters In The South Tour

This tour will lead us to several sites of battles in the War of Independence, to defend the space of the coastal plain of Judea, against the Egyptian army that invaded the country.

We will begin with a monument to the bridge of Ad Halom, and we will hear about the explosion of the bridge, where the Egyptian forces were arrested, and the difficult battle to conquer the place.

We will continue to the old Nitzanim site, and we will hear about the defense of the Yishuv against the Egyptian forces, the fall of the place, the heroism of Mira Ben Ari, her friends and friends, and the fall in captivity.

We will visit the Yad La'misha Combatant Memorial, and continue to Hill 69, where we will hear about the battle there.

We will continue on our way and visit the beautiful site of Tom and Tomer (which is not related to the War of Independence) dedicated to the 73 victims of the helicopter disaster.

From there we will continue to Kibbutz Negba, we will hear about the protection of the place, and we will visit the monument, the cemetery for the fallen of 1948 and see the pierced water tower.

We will continue to the Yoav Fortress and hear about the battles for the conquest of the Monster, and we will end with the memorial of the "F" in Kiryat Gat, and tell the story of the bloody battle of the Alexandroni Brigade to conquer Iraq from Egypt.
