Region: South

We will begin our tour of the observatory in honor of Assaf Siboni, one of the victims of the helicopter disaster, and we will see the Gaza Strip.

From there we will reach a black arrow monument, and we will hear about the mythical unit 101, and the paratroopers' story and the retaliation operations until the Sinai Campaign.

We will continue to the old wells of Yitzhak and see the water tower that has survived, and we will hear about the abandoned community.

As we passed the Kibbutz Nahal Oz cemetery, we heard about Roi Rotberg who was murdered in the kibbutz fields.

We will continue to the Reim parking lot (near Tel Gama). We will see the stream of Nahal Re'im and see some of the sites that survived.

We will hear about the battle between the Mamluk sultan and the Ottomans, led by Sultan Salim I.

We will continue to locate Sheikh Nuran, where we will see the Gaza Strip, and we will hear about Operation Assaf.

We will pass through a memorial monument to the memory of Asaf Shachnai and his friends, and we will end with a visit to Mitzpeh Gvulot, one of the three observatories in the western Negev, where we will receive local guidance.
