Ein Hatzeva Hill is in the central Arava region and has a trapezoid shape. The hill offers a wide view over northern Arava landscapes, the ravines of Bitronot Havar HaLashon, Edom mountains and HaMakhtesh HaKatan (the small crater). Situated below the hill is Ein Hatzeva Archeological park, identified with Biblical Tamar and featuring a Roman fortress, temple and more. The hike difficulty level is easy, and a nearby sand dune allows rolling down its slopes. Dusk is the recommended visit time, when the desert landscape and Edom mountains are lit red by the sunset.
