Hermon Field School is located a 5 minute walk from the Banias River, which flows year round; the surrounding area is known for its network of crisscrossing streams. Hermon Field School also serves as tour guide headquarters for the Hermon region with trained nature guides offering group and private tours in Hebrew. Visit SPNI's Beit Ussishkin Museum, a unique nature museum featuring exhibits, nature films and activities for all ages. A short drive takes you to rock climbing, rappelling, cable cars with a view of the entire region, a roller coaster, hiking and white water rafting.
Accomodations:
The field school comprises of 60 personal cottages, each containing a private bathroom, kitchenette, and a country-like porch with table and chairs. The grounds provide a serene getaway, spotted with private sitting areas nestled in the beautiful landscape of the local oak trees. There are two dining rooms, accomodating up to 400 people, a lecture hall, a synagogue, classrooms, a basketball court, and a designated area for picnics.
