Hatikva, established in the 1930's, is the first Jewish neighborhood that was built east of the Yarkon River. Since its founding, the neighborhood has undergone several transformations and changed significantly. During the tour, we'll review the history of the neighborhood, including people who left their mark on it, events that took place there, and the ambience that currently prevails. We'll hear about Bnei Yehuda, Beit Dani, and the market, which has become an increasingly popular gastronomic attraction on Tel Aviv's tourist map. We, too, will become acquainted with this colorful, warm and loving place. After touring the neighborhood for about an hour, we'll enjoy a fascinating two-hour session at one of the homes that host our tours (A Yemenite or Bukharian home / In Comes the Wine, Out Go the Secrets).
