The Hasharon hospital, founded in 1942, is now part of the Rabin Medical Center, the largest of its kind in Israel, which also includes Beilinson hospital. Rabin Medical Center serves central Israel with routine and emergency treatment at the forefront of medicine. The Hasharon hospital has a unit for sport injuries and arthroscopy, an orology center, a rehabilitation unit and a laser clinicfor a variety of skin procedures. The Rabin Medical Center also carries out extensive research, co-operating with leading international medical centers, and is affiliated with the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine. The center is certified under the JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation for treatment quality and safety.
