In the heart of bustling Tel Aviv, there is a small neighborhood, Kerem HaTeimanim. The vineyards (Kerem) that were there disappeared along with the elders of the community, and yet the feeling is that time there has stopped.
Its streets are narrow, and there are stories between the colorful little houses. On the tour, you hear about how the small neighborhood managed to survive the big city, which threatened to swallow it, as skyscrapers are being built.
Later on, you will see the shell house from which the "Irgun" left to conquer Jaffa, the house of the driver Yihye Dahbani, who drove Herzl on his visit to Israel, we will see the "golden age club," which is decorated with hundreds of paintings, hear about the neighborhood dances of Daklon and Ahuva Ozeri and the beauty queen Tzipora Zubari, visit one of the 24 active synagogues in the neighborhood, Sara Levi-Tanai and the Inbal band.
The tour is accompanied by songs and theatre pieces can be combined.
